Hi,
yesterday I tried to connect twelve input mics into the Fireface 800.
So I plugged 8 direct out of my console to the 8 rear inputs of the RME. As I needed more inputs, I wanted to connect more mics into the Front inputs.
The problem is that I didn't find where to assign those front 1, 7 and 8 inputs in my daw because my only choice was just 1 or 7 or 8.
And if I plugged a signal into the rear 8 and another into the front 8, I could see in the matrix that the 2 signal were in the same channel...
Of course I choose the front & rear option in the fireface settings.
Is it possible to use the front and rear inputs in the same time??? or do I have to choose: the front or the rear?
