I'm considering adding the Aurora Lynx to my set up to add I/O's

would you clock to the Lynx? or stay with the RME?

Hello,
Either way will work if your setup is simple.  It really depends on all your other gear.
The Aurora16 is a very good sounding unit.

Hi,
Yes as Hugh said the Lynx/RME setup is simple and sounds very good.

If you work with projects at different sample rates it will be most convenient to set the RME as master and the Lynx to slave.
If you only use one sample rate the either one set as master will be fine. Sense both have extremely good clocks their will be no discernible sound quality difference.
