Topic: Protools and raydat and spdif?

Protools 9 allows to use 32 input, but it prevents us to use channels after 32.

Is there a way to route the spdif so i can use in protools?

Im using windows 7 64 as well if that makes any difference.  I'm totally new to rme stuff so forgive me if i do not understand somethings.

Re: Protools and raydat and spdif?

Do i change stuff these things in totalmix?

Again I apologize, i'm very new to rme stuff and I don't even know what the loopback feature is.  Ive always used protools hardware and it was a no brainer to setup with protools.

Please search for Loopback in the manual.

Re: Protools and raydat and spdif?

I tried in the manual and no luck with trying what the manual said.  I want to run my finalizer for mastering and run via spdif.  So i need to send to finalizer from spdif out and then back to protools spdif.  I spent several hours trying everything i could and still no luck.  The most i got was audio going to my Finalizer.  I'm so lost in the Total mix thing and loopback.  Any help would be great maybe a video if someone else is doing this or some step by step instructions.  Thanks.

You have been and still are very unclear in your desciption of the problem. What did you do in TM? And do you still have the problem that PT doesn't see your SPDIF input?
