Not sure what's changed but my trusty FF400 suddenly refuses to record audio without intermittent distortion. I don't yet know if this is a Logic problem or an RME one. I can't think what might have changed on my system (things change all the time!) which would cause this. Example is posted here: http://soundcloud.com/wordclock-net/spanish-course-6-01 with distortion patches noted. This is recording audio straight - no plug ins, no other tracks playing. Note that when the distortion happens the pitch drops too. Monitoring directly I know that the source is fine. Any ideas please for things I can look at?
