Topic: phantom power on input 8 and 10 not working

this is a fireface 800 with updates that couldn't be more then a few months old.

with one cable and a tester i tested inputs 7-10. 8 and 10 showed no phantom power. phantom power was turned on in the control panel. also the leds came on. but my tester showed no power and my mics did not power up. no problem using unpowered mics.

is there something i'm overlooking?

bump, before i send the thing off for 2 weeks and who knows how much cash. is there something else i should try?

Do normal mics work? If so then it looks like a repair is in order. And if the FF 800 is a few months old it will be covered by warranty.

yeah, mic w/out phantom power work. it's a few years old. off it goes. thx.
