Topic: problem with PCIe card + Hammerfall II + windows 7

Hi,

i can't get my hammerfall to work with windows 7 on my new cpu.

system:
shuttle sh67h7
cpu sandy 2600k 3,4ghz
RME HDSPe PCIe card
Windows 7 x64
RME Hammerfall Multiface II

I disabled the onboard audio in the bios. Updated to the latest bios, used the latest drivers and followed all the installation steps for windows 7.

My host led on my Hammerfall is showing red. Cubase does detect my hammerfall inputs and outputs, but can't open them. Ableton live freezes on startup and i have to hold the powerknob to reboot (i can't terminate using terminate proces).

any idea what could be wrong?

Which driver did you install? Will the settings and mixer windows open up?

Does Device Manager show a yellow mark next to the RME device?
