Topic: ADI-ds/ 003

Hello,

I have just purchased a used ADI-8 DS it is plugged into my pt9 rig via light pipe into my 003 (eventually planning on switching up ta a UFX) aid is driving 003 via word clock. Everything seems to be working fine, all inputs and outputs are passing signal etc but......the output level on channel 1 is lower than all the others when I pass test signals through it. Also, this is an older grey face model. I have a short time where I can return if this is a real problem.

Any thoughts?

Oh yeah, I'm going out of the adi through the 25 pin D with nothing plugged into the 1/4 in jacks.

Any guidance on this would be very much appreciated.

Check the 1/4 too for level. If it´s OK there it´s something in the 25pin. Either the cable or in the connection (probably loosing a tip or ring). Do disconnect the 25 pin when trying the jacks. If level is lower there too, a repair will be needed (or a return)
