Topic: Fireface 400 BSOD Win 7

Hi Guys,

I'm having a problem every time my fireface 400 picks up the host. It goes straight to BSOD.

It was fine yesterday and has been ever since buying the fireface, i came home from work today and my machine had no sound. Restarted and now it is just bsod every time unless i turn the fireface off.

Any help?

Try switching to the "High Performance" power-profile if that's not active already. The default "Balanced" profile can cause BSOD, but should not do so right when you turn on the FF400.

Also check the cable, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Windows Firewire driver, check bus-powered vs. power-supply powered.
