Topic: 2 Mulitfaces on one PC - Possible?

I have a Multiface II with HDSPe Card and am about to buy a used Multiface for more Outs and Ins. Question now is: can I use the Multiface on a PCI card paralllel to the Multiface II on a PCIe card? Or do I have to connect them using Adat? What i like to achieve is 32 Channels in the end with four Multifaces (2x via PCI / PCIe) and two over Adat. Will this work?

Yes.

The MF will not work as standalone converter.

Hello Daniel,

thanks for the fast reply. So if I want to have 32 Channels i will need: 2 Multiface + 2 Adat AD / DA Converters with 8 Channels each? Can I use the two Multiface as one soundcard then ie. in Cubase?
