Topic: Is Fireface UFX compatible with Mac OS 10.6.8?

I have a new UFX coming in a few days and have Mac OS 10.6.8 on my MacPro.  Will it be compatible (assuming the latest drivers and software)?  I found out the hard way that my Apogee Rosetta 800 with a Symphony PCIe 32 card is not compatible -- and probably won't be in the future, since it's discontinued.

Does the UFX play nice with other firewire devices on the same internal bus, or should I be installing a separate firewire pci card?  If so, which ones are recommended?

Haven't personally tried the UFX, but FF400 seems to work just fine.
And coexistence on the FW bus really depends on bandwidth...
