Topic: HDSPe mixer problems

i have a microphone that registers on input 17 of the madiface interface, but in the software mixer it comes through channel 33 and 34 simultaneously and has a crackle noise. I can not find any explanation for this.
i have updated to driver version 2.77 but its still doing the same thing..im on Mac Osx 10.6.8.
Any help please?

Sounds like a sample rate mismatch. Please check the sample rate of the external device vs the MADIface, I think you'll find the MADIface is running at 1/2 the sample rate.
