Topic: Security Warning, Again

Hello,

A few years ago I, and it seemed many other on the forum, had a problem with security certificates not being recognized. Every time my computer started up I got a security warning asking me if I wanted to trust the  following file C;\windows\system32\hsdp32.exe. There was a little box to un-check if I didn't want windows to ask me this same question every time. How ever, it didn't matter how many times I checked or unchecked the little box, the message displayed every time windows started. With information from the forum I was able to add the appropriate certificates and the little message boxes went away.

Last week I installed the latest drivers for my RME 9652 card and now the little box is back. Same as before. It doesn't matter how many times I check or uncheck the little box, I get asked the message every time. I am running Vista Business on a 64bit machine with IE9.

I have tried installing the certificates as before, but this time can't get the frustrating little boxes to stop appearing every time I turn on the computer.

I would appreciate any insight anyone may have.

Thanks

Re: Security Warning, Again

This is a bug in Vista. You have to turn off UAC, reboot, uncheck and allow, then turn UAC back on (if you want).
