I have a UFX connected to my Mac Pro (10.6.8) via firewire and everything works fine except for an intermittent midi problem.

I have a CME keyboard midi out going to the midi in port #1 of my UFX. The midi in signal light on the UFX is going on when I play the keyboard, but my Mac isn't seeing any midi signal coming in (it has worked in the last few days but it seems to be an intermittent problem)

I use a program called midi monitor to see any midi information coming into the Mac and nothing seems to be coming from the UFX. When I plug the keyboard directly into the Mac via usb, all the midi functions on the keyboard seem to work and Midi Monitor sees everything. So why doesn't the computer see midi coming from the UFX?

This seems like it should be a pretty straight forward thing?.. Is there some settting in the UFX that I'm missing?
