Topic: HDSPe Help

So a lightening storm took out the power supply and motherboard of my computer last week.  I have put together a new system but anytime I go as far as installing drivers for the HDSPe the computer slows down until it eventually freezes.  While the Multiface II powers on, sound never comes through the device.  I have tried the drivers on the disc that came with the HDSPe and Multiface II and also the drivers on the website.  I do not know how to tell the version of the card but it was purchased in March, 2010. 

I do not have the money to buy this setup again as I spent all my money putting together the new computer so I could use this expensive setup again (its expensive to me at least). 

I also cannot seem to find a tech number for RME.  I am hoping there is a repair shop I can send these items to.

I need to determine if this is an equipment failure of the HDSPe or Multiface II or both.  If it is not an equipment failure then I need to determine a software solution.

Any help would be much appreciated!
