Topic: Which cable I need

Hi everyone,

I have a machine with an AES/EBU XLR output and want to connect it to the ADI-2 (cinch)
I think the ADI-2 can handel the 110 Ohm or?
The Problem is I only found converter cables from 110 (XLR) to 75 Ohm (Cinch).
Are there also adapter with 110 Ohm?

Thank you for any help.

Re: Which cable I need

75 ohm is normal SPDIF level, this works fine with the ADI-2. The ADI-2 does not require the impedance change though, you can make a simple cable adapter as explained in the ADI-2 manual.

Re: Which cable I need

I know that. But my machine have an AES/EBU XLR output with 100 Ohm.
Can the ADI-2 handle 100 Ohm directly and where I can order such a cable?
I don't know why you talking about 75 Ohm fryingpan
*joke* wink
