Topic: HDSP 9652 - Windows 7 - Cubase 6 - Direct monitoring bug ?

Hi all,

I do have a problem with configuring my HDSP 9652 and cubase 6 on windows 7 (64bits).
Latest firmware and drivers have been installed.
I am able to get song in direct monitoring mode but If I try to put an effect on the track I cannot ear the result.

I have the same configuration on a mac os 10.6.8 and it is working like a charm so I am wondering if there is a "bug" on the asio driver for windows 7 ...

If you have the soluce for me, you are welcome.

Direct Monitoring is, as the name suggests, direct... No effects. On a Mac, monitoring goes through the software. If you want the same on the PC, disable Direct Monitoring. Not a driver issue...

Yeah I tried to disable "asio direct monitoring" on the HDSP Mixer without success.
I really don't know what to do.

You're right Daniel, thanks for your hint !
In cubase 6 for windows you have

* to disable direct monitoring
* to change : preference -> vst to tape mode

And now my cubase on windows is working like a charm !
