I'm on Win XP SP2, Cubase 5.5 and 6, Pro Tools 9 Native.

On my previous interfaces - Focusrites - I was able to increase the buffer size for heavy mixing projects up to 4096-8192 samples.

For my current mixing projects in Cubase 5.5 I need to use at least 4096 on UFX. When I'm trying to set up a buffer size in Setting Dialog (manual page 16) I can't get more than 1024. It is a Fire Wire connection.
With USB connection I can use up to 2048. I need more, though.

Is there a way to get more than that?

RME UFX Manual at page 8 states that "Buffer sizes/latencues from 48 up to 8192 samples selectable." How can I select more if the last one is 1024?

Will really appreciate any help.
