Total Utopia --> TotalMix FX for Multiface I or rather just the Direct Recording part it ?

Yes you are - Pinch yourself and you'll wake up rotfl

IIRC, the FPGA's in all of RME's interfaces but the newest models can't physicaly and computationally run TotalMix-FX.  Would be nice, but just not possible...

This is not like RME's reluctance to write W7-64 drivers for older cards (Hammerfall Lite series) - this is a physical limitation of the FPGA's horsepower from what I gather...
