And the "handles" IIRC (my old gray MF/DF's don't have handles, but my newer blue MF does).

You can buy this "handles" as an extra, I have done this. My "old Digiface" has handles since then....
...and yes, the handles do not compromise audio quality...hehe.

They do if you try to jam them into the ADAT ports...
