Topic: volume control of spdif output on Multiface

Hey there List peoples,

What I want to do is control the volume of my spdif ouput on my multiface. I'm wanting a knob I can grab to adjust my volume. Wanting to attach active speakers with Spdif input to my spdif output. tried Goolging but noone seems to make a simple (I thought!) spdif in and out with volume knob inbetween. I'm kinda ok with a midi solution but I'd rather have something that was inline. Also an analogue in spdif out with volume knob (digital or analogue) would work for me also.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Isaac P.

Why not buy a cheap remote control and remote the corresponding TM fader?

Looking at that as well.  Any recommendations / ones to avoid? I'm probably going to have to order it unseen.

Thanks,

Re: volume control of spdif output on Multiface

Hi Isaac,
If you want a a Monitor control that has a SPDIF these are the only remotely affordable ones that I know of.

Presonus Central Station
TC Electronic BMC-2

Anything else would be analog only. If you go that route then in line passive would be the best.

Thanks Chris
