Topic: Babyface; Connecting a Hifi system?!

Hi guys,

I've been using the Babyface in my project studio since early summer, and I've been very pleased with it. It's being used as an interface for Logic 9 and I have my active monitors, a set of headphones, a guitar and a microphone connected to it.
In my project studio I also have a small Hifi system, consisting  of an integrated amplifier, a record player and a pair of Cyburgs Needle speakers. What I'd like to do is somehow connect the Hifi system to the babyface, so I can check my mixes on the Hifi speakers and also sample some of my vinyl records. What is the best way to achieve this without altering my original connections?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Beefloaf,
You will need adapters or cables with the right connections on each end. These will be Balanced XLR to unbalanced RCA typically for receivers.
This link might help you figure out which cables you need.

Obviously you will have to switch connections based on which system you connect to, your Babyface only has 2 in and 2 out.

Ya, I got the analog RCA phono type connection cable also and it works fine (if you have RCA phono jack plug-ins to your stereo)
