Topic: Fireface firewire 400 host light flashes

Hi,
I have an Imac core duo 2Ghz with 4Gb memory and OS Lyon and succesfully installed the fireface driver but every now and again the Host light on the fireface blinks on and off and the interface stops working.
How can I stop this from happening please?
