Topic: FF400 crashes after some seconds in buzzing loud sound

My Fireface 400 crashes after a couple of seconds, resulting in kinda loud buzzin' tone.

That's in both Wavelab as Cubase.

I switched/changed Firewire cards, and also pci slot, and tried different cable.
Also tried with bus and external power for the audio device.

Both driver as firmware are up to date

Windows 7 is up to date, I also have Windows 7 seeing Fireface as default audio card.

Using one firewire device.

Any tips/solutions?

thanks
Marsel

Please check with a different FF 400, it might be defective.

hi Matthias,
Thanks for your reply.
Sounds like a good option of course, but I only have one.
:-)

Is there a straight contact service address/point?
So not through my local dealer?\

Thanks
Marsel
