Topic: Fireface UC AP-Firmware can not be chosen

Just received my new Fireface UC. Unfortunately I can not get it installed on my iMac. Contrary to the manual and the video-tutorial it is NOT possible to switch between PC an AP-Setting by double-klicking the encoder. It just switches from "00" to "PH". ....and yes, the device is not connected to the iMac yet.. (rtfm done!)

Any suggestions to get the Fireface UC working?

Try clicking faster. The switch is working if it changes between CH and Level mode.

Thx Jeff but I've tried every speed of double-klicks...   but no f...ing way...

Try softly pulling the encoder outwards, this sometimes helps.

After dozens of attempts I finally managed to switch to AP.  Maybe it was the double-klick speed and the device needs the exact amount of milliseconds between klicks, who knows.... Anyway I hope I never have to change that setting again.....
