Topic: Convertor question

Hello. I was wondering does the HDSPe AIO have a built-in A/D convertor. I have a 1-channel preamp and it would be much more cost efficient to be able to connect it straight to the soundcard than to buy an external converter. The preamp does not have a convertor so the signal that would enter the soundcard would be analog. Any tips?

Yes, the AIO has 2 channel analog in/out, plus a separate Phones out. The card ships with an unbalanced (RCA) analog breakout cable, but you can also get an optional balanced (XLR) breakout cable.
