Topic: Is there any eSATA to FireWire 400 adapter? Halp!

Helo everybody, my setup setup used to be a macbook pro with FF400. about 2 weeks ago my macbook pro died and can't afford to fix it. SO my dad lend me his laptop which has windows, 4 USB ports, HDMI and eSATA connectors.

Is there any way I can bring my FF400 to life again by any of these connectors? (adapters, breakout cables, etc)

No way, sorry. Does the laptop have an ExpressCard slot?

No it doesn't. Well, I guess i'll have to rely on HP Pavilion's D/A converter
