Topic: Babyface: increased headroom with external powerpack?

Hi RME forum

I use my babyface witha macbook pro. It shares USB with 2 external hardrives. All works great!

Question: will i get better performance on pre-amps if i use an external power adapter? ie more headroom? Can i use any power adapter with the right specs or does it have to be rme's?

What he meant is that there is no difference between using a power supply or not...
