Topic: Babyface stopped working

Hi everybody.

I am trying in English now - hopefully I can find a solution quicker......

I got my BF a week ago and it was working fine. Until today.

I took a half hour break and left everything connected. When I came back I woke up my Computer (MBP 5,5 - 10.6.8) and I noticed that the LED's on the Baby were not working anymore. I also noticed that the Computer doesn´t list it anymore in Audio settings.
Toalmix window doesn´t open, FF USB settings, neither.....
I did repair the rights, I did install the drivers like 3 times, as well on my wives Laptop - which is the same as mine.

When i connect the USB there still is this "Plock" Sound. And the device gets warm......

Anybody has any Idea what this could be??

Help very much appreciated.....

When the LEDs don't light up then the unit does not get enough power over USB (try different cable and external power supply) or is just broken.

Update:

After a Night of rest i plugged it in this morning and it's working again. ??? No Idea what that was......Thankfully it did not occure during a Recording Session! I mean - there is still enough warranty left. I gonna keep on working with it and if this happens again: I send it back.

So it did not work on yours *and* on your wife's laptop? Did you exchange the cable already?

Hi Timur.

Yes I did exchange cables as well. Right now I am recording on battery power - and it still works fine..........HeadScratch
