Topic: Testing RME ADI 8 DS Word Clock

Hello, today I received an RME ADI 8 DS. The item HORRIBLY packaged. When I opened it I found a nut that holds the word clock plug lose in the box and the plug its self was out of place. Had to move it to click back in place. Is there a way i can check if its working correctly by buying some sort of cable and connecting the output to the input of the device? If so what cable do I need?
