Topic: Fireface UC: Updating drivers/ firmware/ Totalmix

Hi...my Fireface UC came with driver version 0.979 and I notice there is a newer driver version 0.984 on the dl page of the rme site.

What is the procedure for installing the new driver?

Do I have to completely uninstall the old one first?

(same goes for how to install the firmware update...and how to install the Totalmix updated version)

No need to uninstall, just install the new driver and old files are replaced. This should help: http://www.rme-audio.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=732

As for the firmware update, just run the Flash Update Tool (FUT).
