Topic: Raydat Channel Order in Totalmix

I currently own the HDSPe Raydat.  I've connected the both the ADAT I/O's of my lynx to the Raydat card with the Midi break out cable, and the FF800 ADAT both the ADAT I/O's to the card with the SPDIF/AES breakout card.

I have no problem with audio and have been using totalmix for a few years… My problem is making the order in which they appear in TotalMix…  I would like An1-8 be from my Lynx (which I have correct), But... my FF800 appears on AN17-24.

Can someone assist me in on how I can make the FF800 show up on AN9-16… I've attempted setting up the routing for the FF800 in Totalmix (then using it in standalone mode), so it routes properly in the Raydats Totalmix window, but apparently I'm screwing things up.

Thanks,

Jay

Re: Raydat Channel Order in Totalmix

The problem is the port you use on the RayDAT. Check the manual to verify which ADAT I/O you plug into.
https://archiv.rme-audio.de/download/raydat_e.pdf

ADAT 1 = 1-8
ADAT 2 = 9-16
ADAT 3 = 17-24
ADAT 4 = 25-32

You don't need the dual ADAT connections unless you use double speed sample rates (88.2/96 kHz).
