Hi!

I want to get the RME AIO, but I need to figure out how to connect everything...

I will use my Golden Age Pre73 (http://www.thomann.de/se/golden_age_project_pre73.htm) to connect my bass, guitar and vocal microphone. I will therefor connect my micpreamp to the RME AIO. Are cables included for this or will I have to buy cables? Do the cables have to be balanced or unbalanced? Im very confused about this.

I will also connect from the soundcard output to my speakers. Do I need to know anything about that?

Someone told me to get balanced breakout cables for the AIO because my preamp balanced output might not like the AIO:s unbalanced input. I dont get it.

What kind of cables do I need??

Another question. When I get the card do I have to update it somehow? Do I have to flash the card??

And last question. Will ut run good on a sandybridge mobo, 1155 chipset, win 7?
