This is probably a silly question...

I currently use the Ff mixer for headphone submixes... only. I don't use the Ff mixer for mixdown... or for that matter , seldom touch the input faders, aside from having panned then all to the center and controlling any panning in the DAW, and inputs are controlled by the outboard  pre's

I'm about to switch over to a HearBack system, so the 8 possible outputs for the Hear Back mixers will be permanently set/routed from the FF 800, saved as a template/file in the DAW so I can drop into any session

so, do I simply quit the FF mixer? or set all faders at unity, pan to center and close it?
