Topic: HDSPe MADI phones out not working?

I'm not able to get sound out of my stereo jack "main out" on the back of my HDSPe MADI

I've got the HDSPe MADI
- connected with MADI to a SSL Alphalink AX, with the following I/O

Madi 1/8 > Alphalink I/O 1-8
Madi 9/16 Alphalink I/O 9-16
Madi 17/24 Alphalink I/O 17-24
Madi 25/32 > Alphalink ADAT out 1 > Ferrofish 1-8
Madi 33/40 > Alphalink ADAT out 2 > Ferrofish 9-16

So Madi 41 - 64 is not connected.

Now i want to use port 63/64 as monitor out and map this to the analoque stereo out on the back of the HDSPe but whatever i do, i get no sound?

Let's take Mediaplayer as an example
win7 playback devices > choose MADI 63/64
in totalmix choose 63/64 as MAIN OUT

Now i should have sound right?

Not sure what i'm overlooking?
please advise?

your config of total mixer may be wrong...

click on submix, click on 63-64 output on the 3rd line. Then set the input 63-64 to 0db if something goes into madi else where click on 63-64 from DAW to set it to 0db.

It should now works.
