Topic: PC (Win 7 64-bit) resets when I turn on the Fireface 800

Everything has been working fine for about a year. This morning I turned on the Fireface 800 and then the PC... Now I can get to the Windows Start Screen before the computer immediately reboots.

When I reboot the machine with the FF 800 off, it works fine. If I turn the fireface on while windows is running, I get a BSOD for a split second before the PC reboots itself.

I cannot update the driver which was released on 10/10/2011 because Windows won't run while the soundcard is on.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have a new(ish) PC Win 7 64-bit, 12GB ram, SSD, etc. Plenty of RAM and power...

You might try a different FW cable, but else I fear the FF is just defective and needs service.
