Topic: Capturing audio from my computer

Got an aio card coming in tomorrow.

I am going with rme because I understand you have the best software, drivers and reliability. I have had issues with these things from other vendors.

I'm using windows 7 64bit. My primary daws are cubase 6, presonus s12 and renoise.

One of the things I would like to be able to do is capture audio fom my computer, say part of a song playing on an Internet radio station, onto my daw. I've been able to do this, but never really ever found a simple way to do it. Either I used special capture software or plugged the out to the in on my external audio interface.

I'm really hoping with the totalmix software there is a really easy way to do this. Hopefully I should just be able to click a button and then be able to record any audio playing on my system. Am I in luck with the rme card? I am really hoping.

Thanks,
Shanon

Search the manual for 'Loopback'. One button...

Sweet. Looking at the manual, it looks like I really picked the right interface finally. This thing has got everything. Looks very flexible. Can't wait to start playing with it. Thanks again!
