Topic: UFX Problem: can`t output stereo optical spdif on adat outputs

Hi,

I`m trying to have the main out come out on Adat 2, optical spdif, to my Benchmark DAC converter.
I can`t get it to work. I`ve set ADAT 2 to AES/SPDIF in the usb settings. I`ve set main out to ADAT 3/4 and also tried ADAT 1/2. The meters show signal is going thru the main out, my DAC is sync`ed and no problem there.

As for troubleshooting the other parts in the chain - it works fine if I use AES from the UFX into the AES on the DAC. It also works when I go optical out from my macbook pro into the DAC.

So the problem seems to be in the UFX, or the way I`ve configured the software.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

This is incorrect. Send the signal to AES out and it will work.
