Loving My Babyface... but not really a techie... just know it works with what I want it to do... get results and like my mixes

Used a Line 6 pod in the past and have a POD HD coming (don't want the lectures on the superior results of micing an amp ... I know but gotta go direct)

Should I go it through the spdif / analog ins / or usb?   What are the pros and cons?

I am understanding it right that the conversion would be better using spdif... less noise.

sorry ... I'm a dummy understanding some of this....just want to make music ... and dang.... love my Babyface!
