Topic: Fireface UC - Win 7 (32 or 64 Bit)

As same happen with me before on a mac, RME is always an hassle fight with drivers to make it work properly.
I cannot run the driver on windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit , i red the manual and the windows 7 instalation which says something that doesnt solve my problem.
The device is displayed in the device manage with an yellow exclamation point, the the firmware update flash tool doesn't open, the  total mix, and usb settings icons dont work , are just laying down on my taskbar..
my unit was switched from mac to pc before installing any of rme drivers for windows.
i tried in both win7  32 bit and 64 bit versions.
what is my problem than ?
am i not following the appropriative driver version with my unit firmware version?

No.
Like i explained before,  I followed all the steps "and that link was included".

After hours of trying to figure out the problem I discover that THE FIREFACE UC DOES NOT WORK IN A USB3 PORT, which is not normal because this port works with all my usb2 devices.

I did not found any help to solve this problem in this forum or in your support.

Then you might have to update the drivers for your USB 3 port. If that port operates according to the specs then the UC will work on it. We use USB 3 ports ourselves with all our USB interfaces.
