Topic: TotalMixFX Compressor Glitches.

I'm using the totalmix FX compressor when recording vocals. they do the job, but i listened carefully while tracking a vocalist with a comp acting softly just to prevent clipping the input signal, and i noticed that the gain reduction IS NOT Smooth, i mean you can hear small clicks or let's say (incremental) static sound proportional to the gain reduction meter in totalmix. this was really audible that the singer said "i can hear a (zipper) sound as i go loud!".  The input is not clipping; that sound only happens as the gain reduction meter moves. it sounds like the compressor is reducing the gain in digital increments of 0.2db or so, and you can hear faint clicks as the gain changes. don't know exactly how to explain that, hope you got it. is it possible to make the transition (smoother) and not audible?

PS: that happens in the whole attack and release range, it doesn't matter, it just happens when the gain reduction meter moves.

Thanks.
