Topic: MIDI issue since installing v.1.44

I've just updated the UFX firmware to v.1.44 (shows on the initial screen) and Totalmix to v.0.961 but now I find that the Midi connections are no longer working.

Only the Midi Input LED is lit on the UFX - the Midi Ouput light is off - this is true for both Midi 1 and Midi 2.

Nuendo reports that both Midi Inputs (1 and 2) are active and both Midi Outputs are not active.

Is this a bug introduced by 144? - if so, can I roll back to an earlier version?

Then set the 2 MIDI outputs in Nuendo active and they will work...

Hi Mathias,

Thanks for that - you were right.

For some reason Nuendo was listing 'Fireface Midi Port 1', 'Fireface Midi Port 2' *and* something called 'UFX Fireface Midi Port 1'.

The only change made to the system recently was to update the UFX firmware to v1.44 and the midi had not worked since then.

After reselecting the normal 'Fireface Midi Port 1' instead of the mysterious 'UFX Fireface Midi Port 1' it became 'active' again in Nuendo.
