Topic: Feature request: 1-channel EQ metering

On the UFX it would be nice to have the opportunity to meter one or two channels at a time in different frequencies. It would make mic placement etc much easier in standalone mode.

Any chance this might hit a future firmware update?

Use 'Post FX' and the EQ....

In standalone mode, on the screen. Say you go to record somewhere and you would like to check the frequency spectrum of a single channel or more. Would help a lot with mic placement etc.

I thought it might not be that much work since we've already got the multi-channel metering on the screen.

Other than that, UFX is the best thing that ever happened to me.

Sorry to hear that.  You should try :censored sometime

The DSP can not calculate a FFT (Spectral Analyzer) function without taking away the resources from much more useful features. This alone makes it a clear no.

The UFX can be used for lots of things if you know what I mean..

..which I guess you don't, but still. (hint: plants)

I see. Well, it was worth a shot.
