Topic: UFX RME multichannel WAV file = multi-track recording? (standalone)

Hi All,

is it possible to record in multi-channels in UFX standalone mode
in which we can clean cut the separate individual instruments?
i.e, after I done the RME multichannel splitting,
i will not hear the bleed sound from other instruments.
thanks

I don't understand the question... Bleed from other instruments is not related to the recording or file format.

Re: UFX RME multichannel WAV file = multi-track recording? (standalone)

sorry, I try to re-arrange my question
if I plug 4 different inputs into channel 9-12 MIC/LINE(UFX standalone)
namely piano/ Drum/ guitar/ vocal respectively
and record them simultaneously in DUrec
will I get a clean piano track after the split? etc..

You will get exactly what your piano mic picks up - whether or not there is a bleed only depensd on mic placement. There is no bleed or crosstalk between channels in a multichannel wave file, of course.
