Topic: 31 band eq in TotalMix?

Is there any plans for a 31 band eq on the outputs of the UFX inside totalmix?

Or maybe I'm just not aware of one that's already in there.

Reason being, I'm planning on using a UFX as FoH and it would be great to have a graphic eq available for ringing out the monitors on stage.

If this is possible, I'm going to ditch my 32 channel A&H console and Klark Teknik eq's

Hi,
Not sure if there is enough DSP on board to do this without greatly reducing the number of other plugins being used.

There are some more than usable 31+ band EQs available in your software. They are usually low enough resources to be used on live inputs or outputs.

Re: 31 band eq in TotalMix?

I'm trying to plan on using the UFX and TotalMix in stand alone mode as an all in one solution for a FoH console eliminating the need for a lot of gear.

I wouldn't mind loosing DSP power from other things, or even having a 48k max when using 31 band eq's.

Being able to do this would eliminate thousands of $$$'s in EQ's!

But by the sound of it Chris, it isn't going to happen sad

Before you adopt the UFX for live work, you may want to read the responses to my recent post:

Thanks for the heads up.  I can't see myself using too many compressors, but EQ's definitely!

How many EQ's could you run until the DSP limit was hit, if you can recall...

Re: 31 band eq in TotalMix?

We have an example on UFX product website: "... at 48 kHz 60 EQs, 34 Low Cuts and Echo can be activated. With activated Reverb and Echo still 46 EQs and 32 Low Cuts are available."

best regards

Why did you all not include dynamics in your examples?  That's what really chews up the DSP.  Once you start using the dynamics, those channel counts are less than half of the examples.

Still impressive for a high quality FX setup. But he asks for an EQ example.
