Topic: Building a new DAW for Recording and video editing using FF400

My current DAW has had it's best and is really suffering with Cubase 6 and plugins/VST like Superior Drummer and the Spectrasonics trio.

I want to build a new DAW for recording and video editing. I've already picked a few components from reading on some other forums:

Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD5-B3 (has a TI FW chip)
Intel Core I7 2600k
16gb memory (still deciding what type to buy)
GeForce GTX460 graphics card (not sure if I really need this for video editing? I use Power Director 9 and Adobe Elements 10)
I already have 2 1TB Sata 3gb drives and want to add one new 6gb drive for samples

Any experiences with these components with the FF400?
Should I configure Raid 1 ?
What speed of Memory is recommended?
Do I need the GTX460 graphics card or is a silent 1Gb simpler and cheaper card enough to do basis video editing for youtube vids?
Any recommendations on power supply (650-750) and enclosure, cooling system?

Thanks in advance for your reply!
