Topic: Another little snag RME UFX spdif

The manual doesn't say much about this except that adat 2 can be used for spdif.

I bought a new audio card for my other internet computer with spdif(digital) out but can't seem to get the UFX to recieve it.
The card works through the pin jack so i think it ok at that end.I think the spdif out on it is always active but i have no other device to check it.
Is there something i have to configure in the UFX somewhere,i've looked everywhere i can think of looking in the settings.
Thanks for reading.

Re: Another little snag RME UFX spdif

OK i just read another thread here where someone set spdif/aes in the usb asio settings.
I just hooked up the usb and the spdif/aes tab was there but im on firewire and no mention of any spdif settings anywhere in my asio firewire settings.
Is that normal?

And i don't see any settings for spdif "in" on either  usb or firewire. Is it just spdif out?

...and there is no 'ASIO panel'. This is referred to as 'Settings dialog'.
