What is the round trip latency for the RayDAT and the UFX?
I don't have numbers, but RayDAT being PCIe interface, I bet RayDAT wins low latency performance. But UFX is also extremely good low latency interface regardless of the connection (FW or USB). You need to visit somewhere like this site:

The RayDat's actual latency will obviously be determined by the AD/DA converters you chose plus the ASIO buffer (minimum of 2.25ms @ 32 Samples @ 44.1K plus AD/DA latency IIRC). With a fast AD/DA converter, the RayDat would likely pull ahead by a nose, but we are talking within a ms or so IMO.
I've personally ALWAYS gone with RME's PCI/PCIe cards (Multiface/Digiface + PCI, and MADI PCI/PCIe Cards), and I have never had a complaint about latency or low-latency scaling performance or stability for that matter - bar none. Where I consistently read about USB and Firewire issues at the lowest latencies even on modern i7 PC's.
Check the DawBench site for AD/DA loop specifics:

So, you estimate there may be a ms more or less difference in latency between RayDAT and UFX?
Will depend 100% on the converters you use with the RayDAT. With slower ADAT AD?DA converters and the RayDAT, the UFX will likely be faster...
