I'm considering a Babyface for recording mostly but I thought it could pull double duty and act as a DAC for music listening.

Would it be able to take the digital out of the Airport Express via Optical and convert it to analog? Wasn't sure if it needs to be hooked up directly with a computer and running drivers/software.
