Topic: HDSPe PCIe compatible with 2010 Mac Pro?

I am a bit confused about the various PCIe specifications. A 2010 Mac Pro has 1 PCIe x16 and 2 PCIe x4 slots. The RME card is PCIe x1. Can I still put it in a PCIe x4 slot or is it not possible to use these cards with a current Mac Pro?

x1 type of cards work in any slot in principle. So yes, the card will work.
