You can use TotalMix FX on a connected computer. Thats the way it works. You canot use it on android devices. On iPad there are MIDI remote apps with Mackie Control protocol support, which can control basic features of TotalMix.
best regards

No, sorry. The USB or FireWire connected computer is the control to all TotalMix features of the UFX.
best regards
Knut
You can use UFX remotely thru WLAN this way:
- Setup UFX to stage and connect your computer (computer A) to it. Create ADHOC WLAN with computer A. Let's say that wlan's name is RME_UFX.
- Take another computer (computer B) and connect to RME_UFX wlan.
- Take Remote Desktop (if Computer A is windows) or VNC connection (if Computer A is MAC) from Computer B to Computer A.
- Use computer A thru Computer B as you were at local computer. Full screen is your friend.

I tried the wireless - remote desktop, but the problem was the DPC latency spikes caused by the wireless network adapter, which resulted in a pops/dropouts. It worked at low channel counts (2-3ch) with 44.1/24 - 512 buffer, but pushing more than that caused some dropouts.
Using network switch and hard-wire LAN, it works.
Hi,
You can also use a program like Teamviewer to do this on a IPAD or Android tablet of a PC. Phones work but small screen makes them too difficult to work with.
Thanks Chris
Masaaki, I use Splashtop Remote Desktop to remote control TM FX from my iPad. It works perfectly for remote control, but has an obvious disadvantage (IMHO all similar solutions have): the increased CPU load and DPC problems while running that service. So it is perfect as long as you don't try to record on the remoted machine at the same time.
Thank you, Matthias for the information.
Yesterday, I tested remote desktop again (Windows Remote Desktop) via wireless LAN and wired LAN. Via wireless LAN, recording on the remote machine had some problems with DPC latency, but front DUREC worked perfectly. Via wired LAN, both recording (on the remote machine and DUREC) worked flawlessly.
As an alternative option, I've been looking at wireless monitor (using HDMI transmitter and receiver), with touch panel. Advantage of the HDMI transmitter is, it does not increase the CPU load or cause DPC interruption by wireless protocols. It is just having the computer monitor far away from the machine. The problem of the HDMI transmitter is the max range, which is somewhere around 70-80ft, so it could be acceptable for small venues.
I'll keep looking and if I have a chance to get the HDMI transmitter, I'll report back.

Please do report back. I am very interested in this as well.
